About us
Just a stone's throw from Stockholm's city center, you will find Ulriksdals Värdshus. The restaurant is surrounded by forest, sea and 1.5 hectares of agricultural land.
Where the old meets the new
The stately building was constructed as early as 1868 and carries many memories. Over the years, several restaurateurs have operated restaurants and held banquets here. Since 2020 Ulriksdals Värdshus i operated by Svenska Brasserier, one of Swedens biggest restaurant groups.
When we create our menus, we start from the conditions of agricultural cultivation. What we serve is fresh from the garden and we base our dishes and flavor profiles on modern Scandinavian gastronomy. Our chefs take great joy in experimenting with ingredients to find new, creative ways to cultivate a delicious and sustainable cuisine.

This historic building carries many stories and offers a beautiful atmosphere for our guests to enjoy locally grown dishes in the company of nature.
Our chefs and gardeners works close together
Our chefs and gardeners work closely during all seasons to plan our menu. We focus on the cultivation of ingredients, as well as a sustainable approach to meat. All parts of the animal are taken care of. We serve modern Scandinavian food in a social and relaxed environment close to nature.
We think the food tastes especially delicious when you know the careful work and craftsmanship behind every ingredient on the plate.

Our Farmstead
Sustainability is important to us. Therefore, our culinary vision involves making use of the land around Ulriksdals Värdshus to create our own farmstead. Much of what you get on your plate grows in this 1.5-hectare agricultural oasis.
